Colorado State Patrol probing deadly rollover collision on I-70
Colorado State Patrol is currently looking into a tragic incident that occurred on Monday resulting in the loss of a life. A black Lexus SUV was traveling in the wrong direction on I-70 and collided near Frisco. The SUV rolled over, and the driver was thrown out of the vehicle and later passed away at the hospital. Although the exact cause of the crash is still being investigated, the authorities noted that there was heavy rain at the time. While I-70 was briefly closed in both directions following the incident, one eastbound lane has reopened. However, the westbound lanes are expected to stay closed for around three hours. Motorists are advised to steer clear of the area until the authorities complete their examination of the scene.
