Colorado man crashes car into two homes, attempts to run over woman
Over the holiday weekend, Westminster police reported that a man drove his vehicle into two homes in the Hyland Greens neighborhood in northwestern Denver. The incidents, described partially as a domestic disturbance, led to the man being taken into custody and his name has not yet been disclosed. One of the homes belonged to his ex-girlfriend's mother, whom he allegedly tried to harm. After driving into the first home and then hitting another with his car, the man attempted to run over the woman before crashing the vehicle into her home again. Fortunately, no one in either home was injured. Neighbors assisted in detaining the suspect until police arrived, who then took him into custody and for a medical evaluation. Structural damage assessments were being conducted on the affected homes.
