
Colorado hit-and-run suspect goes back to crash site and gets arrested, say Westminster police
There was a fatal hit-and-run crash in the Denver metro area resulting in the death of a man, with another individual now in custody. The incident took place in Westminster early Saturday morning, and the suspect was apprehended by Westminster police after he came back to the crash site. Authorities were alerted to a body found on the road around 6:30 a.m. near Sheridan Boulevard and West 82nd Avenue, where it was believed the victim had been fatally struck in a hit-and-run accident. Shortly after, the alleged suspect returned to the scene and was subsequently arrested by officers present.
