Colorado assists in training Korean rescue team for responding to fatal accident.

A tragic accident occurred on Interstate 76 in Denver last Friday when a driver going the wrong way caused a fatal crash. A rescue crew from South Korea, who were in the area for training, found themselves at the scene of the accident and immediately sprung into action. Despite being far from home, the firefighters didn’t hesitate to assist, calling 911 and rendering aid to the injured individuals involved in the crash. The team's quick response and expertise were credited with trying to save the life of an unconscious man trapped in one of the vehicles. Despite their efforts, the man later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. The first responders from South Korea expressed their sadness at the loss but emphasized that helping others is a vital part of their instinct, regardless of where they are. The drivers of the two vehicles involved in the crash sustained minor injuries, and any legal actions against the wrong way driver are still under review.
