Collision on Gas Point Road in Cottonwood
In Cottonwood, California, a minor car accident occurred on Gas Point Road early Wednesday morning, resulting in minor injuries, as per the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The incident took place near the 20400 block of Gas Point Road around 7:30 a.m. A white sedan veered into oncoming traffic, causing a head-on collision with a silver GMC Yukon. Both vehicles obstructed the road, leading to a temporary shutdown of both lanes. Emergency crews responded swiftly, finding both drivers outside their vehicles with minor injuries.
