Collision of Two Delta Planes at LaGuardia Airport

The incident involved Endeavor Air Flight 5047 arriving from North Carolina and Endeavor Flight 5155 scheduled for departure to Virginia. The collision, described as low-speed, took place just before 10 p.m. Eastern Time at the intersection of Taxiways M and A. Endeavor Air is a subsidiary of Delta. Thankfully, there were no significant operational disruptions at the airport due to the incident. One flight attendant sustained a minor injury and was treated on site before being taken to a hospital. Passengers were safely evacuated onto shuttle buses, with those requiring accommodations being provided hotel rooms and rebooked on alternate flights. Delta has expressed regret for the inconvenience and is cooperating with authorities to investigate the collision for safety purposes.
