Collision in Salinas Involving Two Vehicles on Davis Road and Hitchcock Road
A two-vehicle collision occurred early Thursday morning on South Davis Road in Salinas, resulting in minor injuries to at least one individual. The incident involved a dark grey Chevrolet Cruze and a silver Ford Taurus near Hitchcock Road. Emergency responders aided a woman with a foot injury and assisted in extracting a trapped individual from one of the vehicles. Although PG&E checked a nearby power pole following the crash, it was found to be undamaged. Tow trucks were deployed to remove the vehicles, and the road was reopened by 6:55 a.m. The California Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
