Closure on Ok-82 due to fatal crash
Sadly, a 25-year-old Tahlequah resident lost his life in a tragic accident over the weekend. Reports from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol revealed that the victim, Nash H. Tannehill, was involved in a collision with Luke D. Geissler, 32, while Geissler was making a left turn into a gas station off OK-82. The accident occurred at approximately 12:15 p.m. near the intersection of OK-82 and E. Beaverson Road, leading to a road closure lasting over four hours. Tannehill, who was confirmed to have been wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene. The type of vehicle Tannehill was driving was not disclosed by the authorities.
