Closure of Loop 202 Southbound due to multiple vehicle accident near Estrella Drive.
A section of the Loop 202 South Mountain Freeway is currently shut down on Saturday morning due to a serious accident involving several vehicles causing traffic to come to a halt. The incident took place close to Estrella Drive, as confirmed by the Arizona Department of Public Safety. Fortunately, there have been no injuries reported so far. Emergency responders are currently present at the scene, but there is currently no information available on when the southbound lanes will be back in operation.
