Disturbing video footage of the crash captured the helicopter narrowly missing a person on the ground. Three individuals on the ground sustained injuries as well, and all five injured parties have been transported to a hospital. The extent of their injuries is not yet known. The helicopter, identified through its tail number as N222EX, is a 1980 BELL 222 Rotorcraft with ten seats and two engines. The aircraft is equipped with a Rolls-Royce 250-C30G engine generating 650 horsepower and capable of reaching speeds of up to 172 mph. The reason for the crash remains unknown as authorities continue their investigation. Reports suggest that the rear engine may have malfunctioned, causing the helicopter to spiral out of control and crash. Following the incident, the local authorities closed off the surrounding area, redirecting traffic as the investigation unfolds. Videos of the crash circulated widely on social media, depicting the helicopter descending into a spin before colliding with the ground.
