
Citrus Heights police vehicle involved in crash, officials say
An SUV occupied by two detectives with the Citrus Heights Police Department was involved in a crash Wednesday night, officials said.The patrol car was traveling northbound on Sunrise Boulevard between Woodmore Oaks Drive and Sungarden Drive when, around 10:15 p.m,. it hit another vehicle, Citrus Heights Police said. The detectives were uninjured and the driver of the other vehicle was treated for minor injuries, Citrus Heights Police said. The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash.
