Chris Froome airlifted to hospital following 'serious' cycling accident
Four-time Tour de France champion Chris Froome was recently airlifted to a hospital after a significant training crash. The crash, which did not involve any other cyclists or vehicles, occurred during a training ride on Wednesday, resulting in his transfer to a hospital in Toulon on the French Riviera via helicopter.
