Children injured in Daviess County crash

The incident occurred when a van carrying several children pulled out onto State Route 54 and was hit by a vehicle traveling westbound. Fortunately, those involved sustained minor injuries and were promptly transported to the hospital for treatment. Sheriff Brad Youngman highlighted the dense Christmas light activity in the area, which contributed to the congestion, but the road has since been cleared for traffic.
