Child killed, 13 others critical after Marion County crash: FHP
A tragic incident occurred early this morning in Marion County, where a child has passed away as a result of a collision involving a motorhome, as reported by the Florida Highway Patrol. The collision occurred at approximately 5:45 a.m. near the junction of US 27 and CR 316. An SUV and a motorhome were involved in the accident, resulting in the motorhome overturning. The motorhome, carrying 15 individuals from Ohio, had a 5-year-old fatality on the scene while twelve others were critically injured and taken to a nearby hospital. Details regarding the occupants' identities, particularly if they included more children, are yet to be confirmed. Besides, the SUV driver was also in critical condition and underwent hospitalization. The authorities are currently investigating the crash.
