Child injured in accident with pickup truck.
The Grandville Police Department was called to the scene of a car accident on Friday afternoon that involved a child and their mother. The incident took place near the intersection of 28th St and Ottawa Ave at around 4:55 p.m. According to authorities, the collision occurred when a pickup truck failed to stop and rear-ended a sedan, causing the sedan to be pushed underneath another pickup truck. The child in the back seat of the sedan was trapped, but bystanders managed to free them before emergency services arrived. The child was then taken to the hospital for treatment, while the mother was also transported as a precaution with minor injuries.
