Child dies in fatal Menominee accident

A young child lost her life due to injuries sustained in a tragic crash that also claimed the life of her father in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The collision involving a pickup truck and a semi tanker happened on State Highway M-35 in Menominee Township early Wednesday morning. Todd Michael Bronold, 38, was pronounced dead at the scene while his 23-month-old daughter, Palmer Bronold, was airlifted to Milwaukee where she later succumbed to her injuries. The authorities are investigating the cause of the accident with assistance from the Michigan State Police for accident reconstruction. The Menominee County Sheriff's Office has expressed their sympathy to the families and loved ones of the deceased.
