Chicago man accused in deadly Berwyn hit-and-run incident
A man from Chicago is in serious trouble after allegedly fleeing a car crash that resulted in the death of a pedestrian in Berwyn early on Sunday. Law enforcement officials responded quickly to the scene and discovered the injured victim, 53-year-old Omar Sharif, who unfortunately passed away at the hospital. The vehicle involved in the incident had driven off before the police arrived, but through diligent work involving witness interviews and surveillance footage, they were able to track down the vehicle registered in Chicago. The owner, Anthony Berry, cooperated with investigators and will be facing a felony charge for leaving the scene of an accident.
