
Chicago crash: Driver dies in rear-end collision on Near West Side, according to CPD
A driver was killed in a rear-end collision in the Near West Side area of Chicago early Saturday morning. The incident, which occurred on W. Warren Boulevard, involved a black Dodge SUV crashing into a gray Hyundai sedan that was stationary facing east on the road. The 30-year-old sedan driver sustained multiple injuries and was later pronounced dead at Mt. Sinai Hospital. The Dodge driver was apprehended, with charges pending, according to the Chicago Police Department. The CPD Major Accidents Investigation Unit is looking into the crash, but no identities have been disclosed by law enforcement officials.
