Charges Filed for Fatal Crash in Saline County
A woman is facing several charges in connection with a fatal collision in Saline County. Kayla Errebo, 32, is accused of crashing her Jeep Cherokee into a pickup at Kansas Highway 140 and Reese Road early on Friday morning. Tragically, the passenger in the truck, Deanna Sommerfeld, lost her life in the incident. Errebo reportedly fled the scene but was located about three hours later at a residence in Ellsworth. The driver of the truck, a 61-year-old man from Brookville, was hospitalized with serious injuries that are not life-threatening. Errebo is set to appear in court for the first time on Tuesday morning in Saline County.
