Charges filed against North Lima man in deadly collision
A North Lima man, Joshua Johnston, faced charges last November for his involvement in a fatal crash. The charges against him include aggravated vehicular homicide and vehicular assault, along with failure to yield and a seatbelt violation. The charges were brought in Girard Municipal Court and Johnston was arraigned on Wednesday. Last year, Johnston was driving southbound when he failed to yield at an intersection, causing a collision that resulted in the death of a passenger, Miranda Zullo, and serious injuries to another passenger. Johnston is currently serving a prison sentence for a separate crime and is due to be released in November. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing in the crash case on July 2.
