Charges filed against man for DUI in two-car accident on Poplar Point Rd.
A man in Virginia Beach has been accused of driving under the influence after being involved in a two-vehicle collision on Poplar Point Road. The incident, which occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Jan. 10, resulted in one driver sustaining non-life-threatening injuries and the other driver declining treatment. The individual identified as Timothy Clifton, aged 46, was found to be under the influence at the time of the crash and was subsequently taken into custody. The authorities are continuing to investigate the matter.
