Charges filed against Florence man in fatal crash
A young man from Florence, Anthony Richard Kelley, is facing a charge of vehicular homicide while under the influence following a tragic accident on U.S. Highway 93. The collision resulted in the death of 81-year-old Michael Raymond "Otto" Thill. Kelley, aged 24, allegedly rear-ended Thill's vehicle at high speed, causing it to overturn. Kelley, who had consumed alcohol before the crash, tested above the legal limit for blood alcohol content. He is currently in custody on a $100,000 bond, with a prior DUI on his record.
