CASTROVILLE: Crash at Cabrillo Highway 1, Molera Road
Two vehicles, a white transit van and a car, were involved in a collision on Highway 1 in Castroville, California. The crash took place near the Thistle Hut Grocery store on Cabrillo Highway 1 and Molera Road. The incident occurred at around 12:39 p.m. on April 9th, prompting a response from the California Highway Patrol after being alerted by a phone call. The collision resulted in the transit van blocking northbound State Route 1, while the black Toyota Crown sedan ended up off the road in a nearby field. Paramedics were on the scene to help those injured, including some juveniles who were passengers in the van. The status of hospitalizations is currently unknown but both vehicles were towed away.
