Car torn apart, sheriff's office vehicle damaged in apparent Kissimmee crash
A man was arrested after allegedly shooting into his ex-girlfriend's vehicle and causing a crash involving an Osceola County Sheriff's Office truck on Monday night.Just after 11 p.m., Osceola County sheriff's deputies received a 911 call from a woman who reported that her ex-boyfriend was chasing her in his vehicle and shooting at her car.The incident unfolded on U.S. Highway 192 near the sheriff's office.Deputies said the suspect rammed the victim's vehicle, forcing it into the eastbound lanes of Highway 192.The victim's vehicle then struck a responding deputy's patrol vehicle.After the crash, deputies said the suspect fled the scene in his vehicle.The deputy involved in the crash was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.Two occupants inside the victim's vehicle became trapped and had to be extricated by emergency crews. Both were transported to a hospital with serious injuries.Deputies later located and arrested the suspect at his residence in St. Cloud.>> This is a developing story.
