Car smashes into German barn, causing serious injuries to 2 people

Authorities in northwestern Germany reported that a car incident resulted in several injuries when the vehicle veered off the road, struck a 7-year-old boy on a trampoline, and landed on a barn roof. The car initially hit a parked vehicle in Bohmte town, crashed through a hedge, and then hit the boy in a garden. It then flew into the air due to uneven terrain and crashed onto a neighboring barn roof about 10 feet above the ground. The boy sustained serious injuries, and the driver, a 42-year-old man, and his wife were also seriously hurt in the accident. Their two sons and a 13-year-old passenger, who were also in the car, suffered minor injuries. Numerous emergency responders, including firefighters, ambulances, and rescue helicopters, were on the scene to assist. Rescuers had to cut through the roof to remove the car, which was later taken away by police. An investigation into the incident is currently ongoing.
