Car fatally hits pedestrian in Rancho Cordova, officials says
A pedestrian was fatally hit by a car Thursday morning in Rancho Cordova, officials said. Emergency medical services were dispatched around 6:16 a.m. to International Drive and Mather Field Road. Road closures were put into effect in both directions at the intersection.It was unclear what caused the crash. The driver remained on the scene, the Rancho Cordova Police Department.
