Car falls onto man in Henrico, killing him in tragic accident
HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A man is dead after his car fell onto him in a tragic Memorial Day accident in Henrico County. The evening of Monday, May 26, first responders with the Henrico County divisions of Police and Fire were called to the 9000 block of Patterson Avenue for a medical emergency. Police told 8News that a man was working beneath his personal vehicle when it fell down onto him, trapping him. He died at the scene. While what exactly caused the vehicle to fall is still unknown, a police spokesperson said this death is believed to be a "very tragic accident" and is being investigated as such.
