Car crashes into Centennial building, one person taken to hospital
DENVER (KDVR) — One person was taken to the hospital after a car crashed into a building in Centennial on Monday morning. Emergency crews were responding to the scene at 6432 South Quebec St. just after 11 a.m., South Metro Fire Rescue said. The car crashed into Building 7, which is home to 14 businesses. The patient who was taken to the hospital needed to be extricated from the vehicle, the fire department said. No one inside the building was injured and everyone inside was evacuated. A team from South Metro was examining the building to determine its structural integrity and the department said utilities had been shut off during that process.
