A serious two-vehicle collision in Burbank left a pedestrian in critical condition and one car lodged in a nearby building. The Burbank Police Department stated that the incident occurred at around 8:30 p.m. in the 4200 block of Riverside Drive. Responding officers found a pedestrian injured on the ground and a sedan partially within a business building. The collision was a result of two vehicles crashing in the Riverside Drive and Rose Street intersection. The impact of the collision led one of the cars to hit a pedestrian before colliding with the building. The injured pedestrian was quickly taken to a nearby hospital in critical but stable condition. Despite sustaining major injuries, the pedestrian was conscious and responsive during the incident and is expected to recover. The identity of the pedestrian has not been disclosed. No other injuries were reported as a result of the collision. The building, belonging to a business named Feybl and used as a coworking and wellness center, was determined to be structurally sound after the incident.
