Abington, Massachusetts fire department reported a car crashing into a home over the weekend, leading to the rescue of two individuals. The incident occurred around 3 a.m. on Sunday at 633 Washington St., where emergency responders discovered the car overturned with two people trapped inside. The vehicle was wedged between a fence and the house, causing structural and electrical meter damage to the building. Both occupants, aged 20, were extracted using rescue equipment before being transported to hospitals with critical injuries. Due to safety concerns, five residents were evacuated and unable to return. Law enforcement is investigating the crash as a criminal matter, as confirmed by the Abington Police Chief.
