The incident, which took place around 10:07 a.m., involved a white Alfa Romeo and a silver Dodge Ram pickup truck. The Dodge Ram flipped and ended up obstructing lanes two and three, while other vehicles were scattered across the road and shoulder. Several passersby stopped to assist before emergency services arrived. The Sacramento Fire Department was called to the scene, and one individual was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries. During the peak of the accident, lanes two through four were closed, causing significant traffic congestion in the Pocket area.
