A car accident occurred in Northern Henrico on Monday evening, injuring one person and causing a vehicle to collide with a power pole. Emergency responders were called to the scene at the intersection of Hungary and Cleveland where the crash happened. The impact forced the power pole to break, leading to a power outage in the area. One of the drivers involved suffered minor injuries. Officials are currently investigating the incident, with Dominion Energy assessing the damage. Power restoration may take several hours, and drivers are advised to avoid the affected area. About 1,190 Dominion Energy customers were without power as of 7 p.m. Monday, as per the company's outage map.
