
Car crash in northeast Las Vegas kills 2, leaves child seriously hurt
In Las Vegas, tragic events unfolded as two women lost their lives and a 9-year-old girl was severely injured in a crash caused by speeding, as reported by the police. The incident took place at approximately 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday near the intersection of E. Carey Avenue and N. Pecos Road. It was stated by the Las Vegas Metropolitan police that all three individuals were inside a vehicle that lost control, veered onto a sidewalk, struck a wall, and then collided with a power pole. The driver, aged 36, was thrown from the vehicle, while her 38-year-old passenger was ejected into the rear portion of the car. The child was discovered trapped in the back seat, according to police reports. Sadly, the two women were declared deceased at the scene, while the young girl was taken to University Medical Center in critical condition. The police revealed that these two fatalities represent the 75th and 76th traffic-related deaths in the jurisdiction of Metro this year.
