Car crash in Georgia prompts investigation into deadly shooting

Above video: Your Monday headlinesAuthorities in Georgia are investigating a fatal shooting.Officers from the Gwinnett County Police Department’s South Precinct responded about 1 10 p.m. Friday to a “person shot” call in the 2900 block of Spruce Circle, police said. That is in unincorporated Snellville.A caller told a 911 dispatcher that a vehicle had crashed into his car and the other driver was unconscious.When officers arrived, they found a man dead with what appeared to be a gunshot wound, police said. Homicide detectives and the Crime Scene Unit responded to interview witnesses and collect evidence.Police said the shooting appears to be an isolated incident and that there is no immediate danger to the public.Anyone with information is asked to contact Gwinnett County Police detectives at 770-513-5300.
