Car collision sends children to the hospital
SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — In the afternoon of March 27, a two-vehicle collision sent multiple children to the hospital. According to the San Angelo Police Department, the collision happened on West 33rd Street and Lake Drive between a white Honda Civic and black Ford Maverick. The white Honda Civic was parked at a garage sale on the side of the road on Lake Drive. The driver was leaving and getting onto 33rd Street when the black Ford Maverick was headed north on Lake Drive. The white Honda Civic failed to yield to the right of way and was struck by the black Ford Maverick. The white Honda Civic had four occupants which three of them being kids in the back seat. Two of the kids were sent to the hospital for their injuries. It was reported that a 1-year-old child in the back seat was temporarily knocked unconscious due to the collision and 5-year-old sustained injuries that law enforcement said seemed to be non-life threatening.
