Emergency responders are currently at the scene of a crash with injuries on Wimberg Avenue in Evansville, Indiana. According to officials at Evansville Dispatch, the incident was reported around 8:35 p.m., involving a car crashing into both a house and a utility pole in the 3000 block of Wimberg Avenue. Despite the residents inside the home being unharmed, the two individuals in the vehicle were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. As a result of the accident, around 103 CenterPoint customers are currently without power, but efforts are underway to restore power in the affected area. The cause of the crash and the severity of the injuries sustained have not been disclosed by authorities yet.
