Car accident results in partial lane closure and downed power line in Raleigh County
RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (WVNS) -- A car accident in Raleigh County caused a partial lane closure and resulted in a downed power pole. According to Raleigh County Dispatch, on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, a reported two car accident occurred at the intersection of Ritter Drive and 4H Lake Road, resulting in a car hitting a power pole. Raleigh County Dispatch stated that the power pole was down and responding agencies were waiting for AEP, and that one lane was closed due to the accident. According to Raleigh County Dispatch, responding agencies included the Beaver Volunteer Fire Department and the Raleigh County Sheriff's Office. The extent of any injuries is unknown at this time.
