Car Accident on Oildale Drive and Decatur Street in Kern County

Traffic Collision in Oildale Sends One to Hospital Injuries OILDALE, CA (April 22, 2025) — At least one person was injured in a car accident between a white Jeep Wrangler and a white Honda Civic late Tuesday morning at Oildale Drive and Decatur Street, resulting in at least one injury. The crash was reported at approximately 9:55 a.m. on April 22nd at the Oildale intersection. Emergency responders arrived shortly thereafter to help those hurt. According to authorities, one subject was found bleeding from the head and emergency medical personnel were dispatched to the scene. The injured individual’s condition has not been released. The intersection was partially blocked following the collision, and officers called for two tow trucks to assist with vehicle removal. MJY Towing responded to the scene shortly after 10 a.m. Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the accident.
