Car accident in Billings results in no injuries

A family in Billings Heights experienced a jolting awakening on Sunday as a car crashed into their home, causing a gas line rupture. Concerns about ongoing traffic issues in the area have been raised by neighbors. Coralynn Hunt recounted the incident, where their home was struck by a car that had veered off the road. Thankfully, there were no injuries reported, and the driver has not faced any charges. However, Hunt expressed worries about the frequent accidents along Wicks Lane and highlighted safety issues such as the lack of streetlights and sidewalks. The city of Billings has planned a $3 million project to enhance safety on Wicks Lane, including adding sidewalks and possibly streetlights. This project, known as Wicks Lane Phase Two, will begin next year, aiming to improve safety for pedestrians and drivers in the area.
