California Highway Patrol investigates fatal crash on Hwy 119
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- The California Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash reported on Highway 119 near Elk Hills Tuesday evening. The crash involving a semi-truck and an SUV was reported on Highway 119 at around 4:47 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information Page. The SUV was reported as being on fire, according to CHP. At least one person was reported dead after the crash. Other details are not immediately known. 17 News has contacted the California Highway Patrol for more information.
