Bus accident shuts down part of Atlanta Street in Roswell on Friday morning
According to the Roswell Police Department, a collision involving a private school bus and another vehicle caused all lanes of Atlanta Street (Highway 9) to close on Friday morning. Luckily, there were no children on the bus at the time and no injuries were reported. The incident occurred between Riverside Road and Chattahoochee Circle, resulting in downed utility poles and wires that posed a safety risk and required an extended cleanup effort. The road will stay closed until repairs are finished and the area is clear. Commuters are encouraged to take different routes, and further information will be given once the street reopens.
