Eight individuals were harmed in an accident involving a pickup truck and a buggy in Montcalm Township, Michigan. The collision occurred when the pickup attempted to pass the buggy on Dickerson Lake Road before swerving back into its lane to avoid an oncoming vehicle. This resulted in a crash with the buggy carrying two adults and five children. The occupants of the buggy sustained serious injuries, with one adult woman in critical condition. The pickup truck driver suffered minor injuries. The incident prompted the closure of both directions on M-91 at Dickerson Lake Road as emergency responders attended to the scene.
