Boater's body found 3 months after accident in Wisconsin Dells
The body of a missing boater, Francesco Di Filippo, who vanished over three months ago in a tragic capsizing near the Kilbourn Dam, was found near Newport Beach on Sunday. Emergency crews responded around 2:13 p.m., recovered the body, and confirmed his identity. The search operation began after a boat overturned on the Wisconsin River, resulting in the death of 75-year-old Luis F. Di Filippo. The Wisconsin Dells Police Department announced the recovery on Facebook and expressed gratitude to the numerous agencies, volunteers, and groups that assisted in the search.
