Boat dispute leads to crash in Contra Costa County
A situation on the waters in Contra Costa County took a concerning turn on Sunday, resulting in an injury due to a collision. The Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office reported that deputies from the Delta Station responded to a boating incident near North Victoria Canal by Discovery Bay around 8:50 p.m. The incident involved an argument between two boaters that led to one of them pursuing the other, ultimately causing a collision that resulted in an injury to the individual being chased. The injured individual was promptly taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention. The case is currently being investigated by the sheriff's office Marine Services Unit.
