Boat crash on Cayuga Lake, one person airlifted to Upstate Medical Center
A boating accident on Cayuga Lake is being investigated by the Cayuga County Sheriff's Office after two individuals sustained serious injuries. The incident, involving two boats, took place in the afternoon on Friday, August 1, a few miles south of Aurora on the Cayuga side of the lake. One injured person was airlifted to Upstate Hospital while the other was transported by ambulance. Although other individuals were involved, they did not sustain any injuries.
