Bikers honor Timothy Raska in final ride after accident.
Local motorcycle community members came together to pay their respects and honor one of their own, Timothy Raska, in his final journey. Raska, a 43-year-old Army veteran and president of the Band of Brothers Veterans Motorcycle Club, tragically lost his life in a traffic accident a fortnight ago. Friends and fellow riders gathered in Sinton for his funeral, accompanying the hearse in a memorial ride named "Fill the Highway for Czech," which was Raska's affectionate nickname. Raska's mother, Tami Pfluger, expressed how proud he would have been of the tribute. The motorcade escorted Raska from Sinton to the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery for his burial. The Corpus Christi police are still investigating the accident that led to Raska's passing on June 9 and are seeking information from the public.
