German biathlon champion Laura Dahlmeier, who won two gold medals at the 2018 Olympics, tragically passed away in a mountaineering accident in a secluded region of Pakistan, as confirmed by officials on Wednesday. However, due to the remote location, a rescue helicopter was unable to reach the site until the following morning.
