Belton streets temporarily closed due to accident evacuation.
Belton law enforcement blocked off sections of N. Birdwell Street and Sixth Avenue yesterday due to an industrial accident that necessitated the use of a medical helicopter. The helicopter touched down in the 900 block of E. Sixth Avenue at midday. Once a male patient was safely taken by the helicopter for treatment of serious burns, the roads were reopened. Traffic has resumed in the area.
