Bayside man dies in single-vehicle crash
A 65-year-old man from Bayside tragically passed away in a car accident last Saturday on FM 3284, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety. The incident, which occurred on October 18, was reported by Staff Sergeant Rob Mallory of the DPS. The crash involved a 2024 Chevy Blazer driven by the man, identified as Donald Humphrey. The vehicle veered off the road and rolled over before coming to a stop in a private yard after hitting a culvert. Sadly, Humphrey, who was the only person in the car, was unable to survive his injuries. The local Justice of the Peace, Karen Diaz, confirmed his death at the scene. Authorities from the Sinton Highway Patrol Office are continuing to investigate the accident.
