Bath Township Reports Deaths of Two Pilots and One Mechanic in Plane Crash
Bath Township has confirmed the identities of three individuals who tragically lost their lives in a plane crash last Thursday afternoon. The two pilots have been provisionally named as Rodolfo Pimentel Zamora and Francisco Javier del moral Jimenez, with the mechanic identified as Alvaro Espejo Rodriguez, according to details revealed by the Mexican Consulate in Detroit. These individuals are Mexican nationals, and their exact identities are pending DNA confirmation from the medical examiner's office at the University of Michigan Health-Sparrow. The crash happened on the evening of October 16 when a Hawker 800 XP departed from Battle Creek, flying south before changing directions and heading north, ultimately crashing near Clark and Peacock Road on state land near Rose Lake. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) are currently investigating the incident, and it may take several months to determine the cause. The jet had taken off from Battle Creek Executive Airport, where it was reportedly undergoing maintenance, and the registered owner of the aircraft is Condor Air LLC based in Westlake Village, California.
